Wow, am I late to the party! I've only recently finished watching Motorcity and I cannot sing its praises loud enough. It's so exciting to see these storyboards and the real cherry on top was when I read that you referenced some animation from Gurren Lagann. This is amazing!

You know, I really enjoyed this sequence, because we got to see Kane's not just a wimpy 'manager' type guy, he's strong, powerful and trained in self defense, as you would imagine since he trains his cadets in the same. It was quite hard to watch Mike getting beaten so comprehensively, but let's face it, Kane's got years of experience.

nah, animators just keep animating, we get a list of sequences in an episode assigned by the director. someone else does the coloring and clean up
